Jazmine Linklater

I am a poet & writer currently based in Manchester, UK. My new pamphlet, Figure A Motion, was published in September 2020 by Guillemot Press. I recently spoke to Vahni Capildeo about the pamphlet, the interview is published here in MAI Feminism & Visual Culture. There’s also a nice review here in the Manchester Review of Books! I’ve previously published two pamphlets of poetry: Toward Passion According (Zarf Editions, 2017) – which you can download, along with all the Zarf PDFs, here and pay what you can! – and D├ęcouper, Coller (Dock Road Press, 2018).

My work can be read in journals including Paratext, Zarf, The Literateur, Stride, and a glimpse of, among others. Recent work has been included in the anthologies Prototype II (Prototype, 2020) and Writing Utopia (Hesterglock Press, 2020). I’ve previously written for Durham Book Festival as Reviewer in Residence, and currently work for T-Junction International Poetry Festival and Carcanet Press, as well as sitting on the editorial board for Broken Sleep Books.

I am one third of No Matter, an artist-led experiment with Nell Osborne and Hilary White, dedicated to poetry and performance. We recently wrote about transient capital, privatisation, public space and safety for MAP Magazine’s TENANCY project in ‘Make it Safe’.
